Meet Toshiba "T." Rice - The Advocate for Your Well-Being
Toshiba Rice, widely known as "T. Rice," is the visionary behind imWell, serving as the Principal Well-being Consultant & Trainer, the esteemed Pastor of Greater Faith Raleigh, and is also Wake County Board of Education Member District 4. Her mission is to empower individuals to create and live well (Wholeheartedly, Enjoying Living Life!℠), aligning emotional, occupational, and spiritual wellness with the promise that God has given us "all things" pertaining to life and godliness.

Over 25 Years of Transformative Leadership With a quarter-century of experience, T. Rice has been at the forefront of tackling some of the most complex challenges in the community. Her leadership roles span across key organizations and the government in North Carolina.
Champion for Mental Health and Advocacy T. Rice is a nationally recognized advocate for mental health, suicide prevention, substance use awareness, and ACEs prevention. As a certified Mental Health First Aid Trainer, she educates adults supporting adults and youth, and teens supporting their peers on identifying signs and symptoms, and how to help during mental health and substance use crises. As well as their self-care plan.
Dedicated to K-12 Education and Parental Engagement Her tireless advocacy extends to K-12 education, where she lights the way for parent engagement in public schools, significantly impacting countless lives. She also serves as a Wake County Board of Education Member representing district 4. She supports that district with innovative strategies to close achievement gaps by creating the T. Rice Committee on Family and Community Engagement. Where she's empowering education, elevating communities.
A Personal Journey of Resilience T. Rice's dedication stems from her personal experiences. She has supported her loved ones with severe mental illness and intellectual development disabilities. G.RA.C.E. has taught her how to face divorce, ministry challenges, business ventures, and profound grief. Her story brings light, hope, and a path forward for many.
A Positive Voice in the Community As an only child, mother of four sons, and grandmother, T. Rice knows the depths of personal loss, having lost one of her twin sons to an opioid overdose. Despite these challenges, she continues to inspire, offering hope to mothers who have faced similar tragedies. Her mantra, "I'm not perfect, I just live on purpose with peace and resilience," resonates deeply with all who meet her.
